Muhammad Yaqubov

Muhammad Yaqubov is one of Tajikistan’s most accomplished professional boxers and a highly technical, world-ranked super featherweight contender from Isfara, Tajikistan. Following a decorated amateur career, he turned professional in 2015 and quickly established himself as one of the division’s elite technicians.

Yaqubov spent years refining his craft within the Russian amateur boxing system, training and competing alongside Russia’s top fighters at the national high-performance training centres in Moscow. His explosive southpaw style, exceptional ring IQ and sharp counter-punching have made him one of the most difficult fighters to face at 130 pounds.

Throughout his professional career, Yaqubov has captured multiple regional championships across the major sanctioning bodies, most recently defeating American contender William Foster III to win the WBC USA Super Featherweight Championship. He is currently ranked among the WBC’s Top 15 super featherweights in the world.

Managed by Jim Kambosos and JKSM Agents, Muhammad continues his pursuit of a world championship as one of the sport’s most technically gifted fighters.
